Digital Eye Strain Prevention
- Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds
- Adjust screen brightness to match your surroundings
- Position your screen at arm's length and slightly below eye level
- Use artificial tears if your eyes feel dry during extended screen use
- Consider blue light filtering glasses if you spend long hours on digital devices
Nutrition for Eye Health
- Eat foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids (fish, flaxseeds, walnuts)
- Include plenty of dark leafy greens like spinach and kale
- Consume colorful fruits and vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, berries)
- Maintain adequate vitamin C intake through citrus fruits and other sources
- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day
